Lufthansa Airlines Changes its International Flights Plans
Lufthansa has shelved the plan that it earlier annonce, of linking Bhagdad with amjor Intarenational Airports citing Lack Of customers interests. It is importnat to note that the airlines is facing sitff competition from Th rivals such as Emirates airlines which has been growing in popularity among not only the Arab bound travelers but alo Eropean air travellers.The news however is  is a blow for Iraq's hopes to reconnect Baghdad with international capitals since most Western airlines discontinued flights to Baghdad following the 1991 Gulf War. Earlier this year Lufthansa air  resumed flights to the northern city of Erbil in April after a 20-year halt, and had said it was gearing up for flights to Baghdad four times a week.

Lufthansa has been enhancing itsfleet presence in many other Asian cities as well. For example it has plans for offering more city bound airline operations to cities in India Such as New Delhi, Kolata and Bangalore.

Lufhtansa Flights to India are presently available to major metropolitan cities in India.
